Why vegan?
As a person who grew up in a vegan household I often struggled to find food that accommodated my diet. And it was nearly impossible to find custom vegan dessert options that didn't cost a fortune. By prioritizing vegan desserts with Sweet Hart I'm excited to show people that vegan desserts are just as delicious as anything made from dairy products, and that opting for vegan options doesn't have to cost more.
Do you cater for events?
Sweet Hart holds community at the center of our mission and generally loves catering for events and parties. We have been honored to be part of many community celebrations and events in the past. Take a look at our Events & Catering Menu.
However due to COVID-19 and our commitment to community safety and social distancing we will not be providing catering for any large events.
Where are you located?
I don't have a physical shop or location. Sweet Hart Desserts is a home based baking service, meaning that all of my desserts are homemade and baked with care by me. Though if you're looking for local cafés and restaurants with vegan options I've got a list of favourites that I’d be more than happy to recommend.
Do you make wedding cakes?
Yes! We recognize that wedding cakes are often very expensive and can be inaccessible to those in relationships who want to commemorate their love. We have several menu items that would be lovely as wedding centerpieces. The “Naked Cake” on our Permanent House Menu comes to mind.

Are you gluten free?
No unfortunately most Sweet Hart Dessert items are not gluten free. However, we are currently making a special gluten free menu and constantly expanding our gluten free options.
Are you peanut free?
Sweet Hart Dessert can be made to be peanut free. However, the facility that our items are made in are neither peanut nor nut free. It is important that when making an order you disclose any and all allergies, food intolerances, and dietary restrictions. Your safety is our number one concern!
